When the other monks finally listened to his warnings, it was too late already. Madness had corrupted all denizens of the abbey and he sought refuge in his chamber.

It came to him quickly, in a moment of stark indecision. His muscles took over and did what had to be done; he threw his shoulders against the colored glass and fell into the unknown. Only God may protect him from whats to come and will certainly welcome him for his loyalty. One could not, however, say the same about his fellow believers. They turned against one of their own and will receive a deserved punishment for their distrust.
The path towards the light sometimes is accompanied by blessings, to him it brought an ultimatum, an agreement of his madness and tired body.
